Buying the LPs sampled on Nice Enough to Eat.
Continuing Mick Abrahams’ notes on the expanded CD:
“Altogether I think you’ll find some very interesting tracks on this compilation, some great energy, some musical moments, some stuff that I still personally enjoy and some stuff that makes me wince! As time has gone by, my musical tastes and directions have changed, hopefully for the better as all I’ve ever wanted to do was to improve, play good music and try to be for the best part, original. I think that, certainly Blodwyn Pig was a one off and quite unique band in that sense. Although there are times when it was a tad rough around the edges, it never lacked energy, enthusiasm, or originality so for that I feel that whilst the band didn’t realize [sic] it’s [sic] full potential in terms of longevity, it was a job well done. It even surprises me to be able to make that judgement, as I’ve always sought not to pat myself on the back too much as it is a very dangerous area to be in!!”
