Some progress; today the puppy, having been let outside (surely?) for long enough to be fully relieved, is content to nibble my feet while I try to do this.
We have almost come to the end of the section on this fine album; [almost] all that remains is a little about the 4 bonus tracks on the expanded CD.
Track 12 is the “El Pea” version of “Late November”; I have never quite understood how these different versions of things sometimes appear on samplers, or indeed singles which purport to be LP tracks, and patently are not.
Track 13 is another rocker called “Walking The Floor Over You”, which in my view is slightly better than the comparable tracks on the original LP.
Track 14 is yet another one, but this is actually brilliant! It is the classic “Losing Game”, and sheer joy to hear.
Track 15 is a version of “Next Time Around”, without strings, which makes it seem very bleak.
Next time, I’ll try an upload a photo of the CD itself, and that will be the final word on this record.
