On with the next note:
“HENS MARCH THROUGH THE MIDDEN / THE FOUR POSTER BED
Rather than clutter the world with yet another version of “Sir B, MacKenzie”, I found this gem. Although it seemed Swarb could play these tunes in his sleep, he consistently injected them with an enthusiasm to which it seemed , the rest of us never failed to respond. I recall Jerry D. moaned briefly that the difficult tag to the diminished run at the end wasn’t in “a good guitar key”, but after a few moments with a slide rule and a pocket calculator, the whizz kid had figured it out.”
So, the author was not Dave Swarbrick, nor apparently Jerry Donahue, so it must have been Dave Pegg…?
