Thankfully, this is the only time in history a group called “Fairport” has released an LP. Strictly speaking this is not a Fairport Convention record, therefore, but for obvious reasons we have to include it in this long series. By way of reminder, we are now more than half way through a study of the comparative fortunes of Fairport Convention and Fleetwood Mac in the 1970s.
