Track 3 is “Just Crazy Love” (3.22 minutes). This is a soft rock Christine McVie song, where she sings the verses solo, and the refrains in two part harmony with herself. Again not bad, but this one seems wholly inconsequential.
Track 4 is “Hypnotized” (4.46 minutes). This is a Bob Welch song, a jazz like thing, with a drum intro. It has slightly odd words [“…Two friends having coffee together/ When something flies by their window…” for example], which are almost spoken rather than sung. Not bad, in its way.
Track 5 would, I think, have ended the first side of the LP. This is a joint composition by Bob Welch, Bob Weston and John McVie, called “Forever” (4.04 minutes). This has a rumba intro, and then a very laid back vocal on the first section of the song. This is followed by an instrumental middle 8, which gives the piece a bit of a kick, then we are back with the rumba for a repetition of the laid back first section, and then the second section, equally laid back. This is not a very good track at all; things were not looking good for this record at the half-way stage.
