As ever when looking at this picture, when I say “left” I mean your left, and the same with “right”.
Today we continue with bands that were there in their entirety, and strangely this includes Wynder K. Frog. The chap who traded under that name, Mick Weaver, is third from the right on the back row, just to the left of the broadly grinning Ian Anderson. We have already noted the one black face, still visible on the right edge of this edit of the photo. That is the talented bongo player, Rebop Anthony Kwaku Baah, who was in the group at the time. Chris Mercer, one of the three guys there who were cut off from the album cover at the left edge, was also in the group. Fifth from the right on the back row, the short haired bloke whose face is fully visible is Bruce Rowland, a drummer who I had only heard of until recently as being such with Fairport Convention in the second half of the 1970s, but was in the Wynder group just then. Finally, the man at the top left of the photo, the last one on the back row before the left edge, whose face is partially obscured by the head of Ian Matthews, is Neil Hubbard, who was also in the Wynder K. Frog line-up. So, the whole band were there!
