Buying the albums sampled on “You Can All Join In”.
This time, more from the CD insert notes written by Fred “Kermit” Dellar in November 1995, still talking about the band’s first LP:
“A tweve track instrumental set, the album featured a couple of sprightly Miller originals in “insense” (spelling apparently was not a strongpoint at Island in those days) and “Dancin’ Pain” along with three more close-to-home compositions in Jackie Edwards’ “Somebody Help Me” and “I Feel So Bad” along with Owen Gray’s “Shook, Shimmy and Shake”, a re-run of Donovan’s “Sunshine Superman”, plus a few R&B standards that included “Walking To New Orleans”, “(Don’t Fight It) Feel It” and “Hold On, I’m Coming”.”
Sic! Yes, it really is just one long sentence!
More next time.
