Buying the albums sampled on “You Can All Join In”.
I have been giving some thought as to why the sampler gives the title of the LP as “Clouds” when it was in fact called “Scrapbook”, and I think the clue lies in the serial number of the album, which is ILPS 9100. This is five more than any other LP sampled, and ILPS 9102 was “Unhalfbricking” sampled on the NEXT sampler, “Nice Enough To Eat” [see way above]. It therefore seems extremely likely that the LP had not been manufactured when the sampler was released, and so “Clouds” was used as a sort of “working title”.
