Buying the albums sampled on “You Can All Join In”.
I never thought this one would come out on CD, so I was able eventually to get a proper version of the LP. The front cover gets that other first prize I mentioned in the last post, for the weirdest front cover:
The album did in fact come out in CD in 2008, and the cover is slightly easier to make out on its front:
The illustration is a black and white fantasy featuring a clock and a tap of some sort, and actually makes slightly more sense when turned upside down. The framed photo on the right then can be seen to show a family grouping at the correct angle, as opposed to a sole lady at an impossible angle when not so inverted. It is Daliesque in many ways, but essentially the stuff of nightmares. All that is given about it anywhere is “Art direction: Mike Sida”.
