Buying the albums sampled on “You Can All Join In”.
On the extended CD are BBC session versions of “I’m a Mover” and “Over the Green Hills”, this latter of course being an “unbroken” version.
A third BBC session song is Track 12, “Waitin’ On You”, which is a very Cream-like blues, but delivered with the customary precision of Free.
Track 13 is a blues instrumental called “Guy Stevens Blues”; Guy Stevens was of course the chap who produced the LP.
Track 14 is a studio take of “Moonshine”, but with a distinctly differently phrased vocal.
Track 15 is a very early take of “Sweet Tooth”, with slightly different lyrics from those used on the LP version.
The final bonus track to mention is Track 17, “Woman By The Sea”. This is absolutely classic Free, and a different version from that on the box set “Songs of Yesterday”, which included keyboards. This song later became “Remember”, but in these original versions it is a much more menacing piece.
