Buying the LPs sampled on Nice Enough to Eat.
So, there were some songs on the Canadian LP which weren’t on the UK one, and all have notes on the cover from Mick Abrahams. (His notes on the common tracks are clones from the UK notes).
The first Canadian only track is ” Walk on the Water”. This is an utterly splendid example of classic Blodwyn Pig, driving drums and bass bits alternating seamlessly with more quiet interludes. It was the A side of the Island single WIP 6069 in October 1969. Mick Abrahams’ notes describe it this way:
” [it] was written when I was in a very cynical frame of mind. If you don’t read history, just listen to the music and forget it. (Sounds to get hung-up by.)”
