Buying the albums sampled on “You Can All Join In”.
I end my stuff here on this one with the album credits, which are a little bit noteworthy.
First, a correction. The one track not written by John Martyn was NOT “Seven Black Roses”, but was the delightful “Winding Boy”.
“All titles written by John Martyn
Except Trk [sic] 9 Written by Morton
Produced by Al Stewart [! I had quite forgotten this! It is my intention, coincidentally, after I finish this series, to do a short series on the first three Al Stewart LPs.]
John Martyn, Guitar accompanied by:-
Harold McNair – Flute [this man deserves a medal for his amazing contribution to the unique sound of this album.]
Paul Wheeler – Second Guitar
Dave Moses – Bass
Cover Design: CCS Advertising Associates Ltd.
Photography: Francine Winham”
If any of these people are still alive, and happen to read this, Well done everyone!
Next time, and for a few more posts, a little more about John Martyn before I leave him.
